This page describes how the current ShopDe application handles information when you browse deals or use its optional features. It should be reviewed for the operator’s actual hosting, logs and service providers before launch.
Browsing and saved deals
Saved deals are stored in your browser’s local storage. You can remove saved products on the Saved page or clear this site’s local storage in your browser. ShopDe also records aggregate product page views and merchant-link clicks for popularity ranking; these counters are not user profiles.
Search and AI features
Search terms may appear in the page URL and therefore in browser history or server logs. If the OpenAI integration is configured, natural-language search text and product questions are sent to OpenAI together with the product facts needed to answer. ShopDe sets the API store option to false; the provider’s own data handling is governed by its terms and policies. If the integration is unavailable, local search still works.
Cookies and security
The site uses an authentication cookie for administrators. Request information such as an IP address may be processed for delivery, rate limiting, security and hosting logs. External merchants and font providers may receive requests when you follow links or load their resources.
Your choices and questions
You can avoid optional AI questions, remove browser-saved deals and contact the site operator about privacy requests. The operator should provide a real contact address and confirm retention, hosting and third-party arrangements before publishing this policy.
